Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord. Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.This is why the Lord gives us the analogy of the human body. He didn;t call it, the organization of Christ or the corporation of Christ but the Body of Christ.Don't let the devil tell you - nobody loves you at that church, you had 3 conflicts you should go somewhere else. Nobody hugged you last week you should leave. Reach out to others and develop relationships. "Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly.You sow a harvest of love towards others and you will reap a harvest of love - Rather than focusing on what others are not doing for you focus on how you can be God's vessel of love. If one doesn't like you reach out to somebody else. Minister to someone else and you will feel better. Your depression goes away when you encourage and pray with someone else. Get in a small FOLD group, you can even start one - ( See Elder Vincent) People get discipled and encouraged in small groups. When you have a crisis - they are the folk that will reach out on an on- going basis. As pastors we can't know everyone personally or take time to counsel each one of you. There are other folk in the body that God has called to help us to care for and nurture you. Reach out to those people that get on your nerves - they are your testing ground - there is a lesson in that relationship for you to learn - if you don't - that same personality will keep coming into your life until you learn the lesson.
