The Meaning of Membership
Ephesians 4:14-16 (New Living Translation) – Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. Instead, we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
Church membership is not a means of salvation; becoming a member of Fresh Anointing Christian Center or any other church does not assure anyone of eternal life in heaven. The Bible does tell believers, however, to meet regularly with a group of Christians who love, serve, and encourage one another (see Ephesians 4:16, I Timothy 3:15, and Romans 12:4-5).
We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it’s like. So we’ve provided the information below, knowing that it’s easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.
Your membership means more than simply signing a piece of paper. Becoming a member of Fresh Anointing Christian Center (FACCI) expresses your commitment to this “spiritual family,” a family that worships together, grows in faith together, and serves one another.
We are committed to connecting with you and desire to help you solidify your faith and find your place at Fresh Anointing Christian Center. If you wish to become a member you must attend New Member classes. New Member classes are on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am – there are eight (8) – ten (10) weeks. Make up classes are available on Wednesday evenings. You must complete all classes to obtain a certificate of completion for New Converts/Members. Your participation as a leader in a ministry or all areas of service requires that you complete all of your New Members classes. (There are no exceptions to this prerequisite for serving at FACCI)
