Seizing the Opportunity to be a Loving Community

The theme for 2020:

The theme was ironically inspired by the outpouring of God’s love we received from my congregation, other churches and fellow pastors around the country during me and my wife’s illness. I was humbled by the love shown us. Black and white, male and female, young and elderly it was indeed overwhelming. The result was that I developed a new appreciation for the love of God and how important it is that we Christians manifest the love of Christ.

The love of many has grown cold in this atmosphere of division, partisanship, and racial disparity. We are a divided nation. Unfortunately, many so-called evangelical Christians have contributed to this division and yet Jesus said the following in John 13:34-35:

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.
He did not say they would know us by our dress, our Christian buttons. pictures and bumper stickers; but instead when they see us engaging in love activities. We are disciplined followers of Christ therefore; love is our badge of honor and our real identity. I challenge you in 2020 to assume and live out Christ’s love lifestyle and love agenda,

I Will Grow Fresh And Green

Pastor Clarence Walker

When the Lord gave us the Word of growing fresh and green in 2019, He was telling us that we are in a new season at FACCI,  He is troubling the water and now is the opportune time for us to focus on growing, individually and corporately. There will be a special anointing available for us to grow, it doesn’t mean that this will be the only time to grow but there will be an anointing, or His power to help us.

A New Year, A New Beginning, A New Hope

Pastor Clarence Walker

Our hope is in the Lord- He is the one who makes things fresh. When we are weary, burnt out and tired the Lord will send seasons of refreshing. He wants us to grow in this new year.

Psa 92:12  The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13  planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

14  They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, Psa 92:15  proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."

God expects us to grow, He has purposed that we grow. This passage suggests we are to grow a certain way, like a palm tree and cedar tree.

14The righteous will flourish like a palm tree. Righteous= just, lawful,   Flourish:= God wants flourishing growth,  abundant growth, spreading growth, break forth with bud, blossom

they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon

Cedar in Lebanon. = Spiritual Meaning of the Cedar Tree. The cedar tree has been revered for its spiritual significance for thousands of years. Its wood was used for the doors

of sacred temples and burned in cleansing ceremonies for purification.

A slow-growing species, it’s growth was slow but steady-  anything that grows quickly is not natural but abnormal and non-sustainable This species usually reaches  maturity at around 20 to 40 years old

Palm trees are tropical to sub-tropical plants that come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. They have a few anatomical characteristics in common, one which

are the leaves. The foliage of a palm tree is called a frond. Most palms grow fronds from the crown (or top) of the plant.  Fronds can take three to five years to mature.

Fronds symbolize our adoration of the king Jesus since they were spread in the path of Jesus welcoming him as king. A 2:1 ratio of juvenile to mature fronds ensures that there

is a constant supply available to provide food to the tree

2 Cor. 4:16  Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

Psa 103:5  who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The cedar of  Lebanon can be remarkably long-lived, with reports of individual trees surviving for over 1,000 years the righteous can also claim a life longevity

Psalm 91:16 King (KJV) 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation

Col 2:6  So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,  rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith

as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots

by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.   There are about 2600 species of palm trees,.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. (James 3:17 NIV)

John 15:16 NIV You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last--and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

John 15:4-5"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine,

are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,

Ezek 17:8 "It was planted in good soil beside abundant waters, that it might yield branches and bear fruit and become a splendid vine."'

Proverbs 12:12 The wicked man desires the booty of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit they will flourish in the courts of our God they will bud and bloom in productivity and fruitfulness

They will bring forth fruit in old age your age does not determine your fruitfulness  The vigorous growth, longevity, utility, fragrance, and beauty of these

 noble trees, set forth the life, character, and destiny of the righteous;

They will still bear fruit in old age. I am claiming this promise for my life. Keep going to the Lord to be renewed, strengthened and healed. He is your source of life. Let’s grow in the Lord

This year. Join us for the 21 day consecration and offer your life to the Lord for His service all over again. Spend time in prayer, reading the Word. Worship Him in your home and throughout

The day. Seek Him first and He will add all that you need unto you.

His favor We Will Glean in 2018

My prayer and expectation is that 2018 will be a new season of God’s favor. The saints will experience an unusual level of favor that they have never see. In fact, the bible says God will compass or surround the righteous with a shield. The original Hebrew word is also translated buckler which is a shield that surrounded the whole body. The word favor means, grace, delight, kindness, and purpose. A shield or buckler is for protection. God is going to protect the righteous our health, finances, even our spiritual life. He is a God of favor and He wants his children to have His favor. The righteous Experience two kinds of favor automatic favor- favor because of our position- favor that comes for being righteous. Also, pragmatic favor – favor because of our action- favor from doing righteous. It is God’s will that they experience both forms of favor. There will be challenges but those challenges will not stop the favor of God, so I say by the faith of God “His Favor We Will Glean in 2018”

Pastor’s Blog - More Kingdom will be seen in 2017

Our theme for 2017 is more kingdom will be seen in 2017. In this environment of racial division, polarization, Xenophobia, hatred, and intense political partisanship. We are in desperate need for America and the nations in the world to see and experience more of the Kingdom of God. That means more than ever we true Christians must model what it means to be a kingdom citizen. That means acting differently from the things that are happening. We must overcome hatred with love, injustice with justice, unrighteousness, with righteousness, and evil by doing good. That means resisting Xenophobia and treating foreigners and strangers the way Jesus would have. I don’t think He would set up barriers and build walls to separate people. Make no mistake about it Christ is not happy by some so-called Christians display of anti-Semitism since after all our Savior was himself was a Jew, therefore anti-Semitism is anti-Christ.

Update - "His" Kingdom will be seen in 2016

His Kingdom will be Seen In 2016

This is a year in which God wants his people to get in touch with the kingdom and its culture. Which is inclusive of a kingdom vocabulary and language, an expression of Kingdom power, and living a kingdom lifestyle. This is a year where we must zero in on the King and his agenda.

New Church in Liberia Update

Morovia-Liberia, Africa
December 2014

You know that Liberia had two civil wars over a period of 14 years? Over 200,000 were killed and thousands of women and children were raped, amputated, demoralized and cannibalized. The orphans are the forgotten, needy and traumatized who so desperately need our help. Liberia had one of the bloodiest wars in world history in addition to recent Ebola crisis destroying thousands of lives and caused social and political orders to collapse environmental harms to the entire population.

FACCI~Fresh Anointing Christian Center International-Multiply Strategic Initiative (MSI)

 Multiply Strategic Initiative (MSI)

Our God has always been about multiplication: "Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen 1:22), Jesus multiplying five fishes and two loaves of bread to feed thousands (the Gospels) and Hebrews 6:14 "Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiple thee". These are just a few examples.

Focus on Outreach

Pastor’s Blog
We are  in a new season of transition in which God is leading us to focus on Outreach. To get the focus off ourselves, our issues, and our needs so that we can meet the needs of someone else.

Raise the Roof Campaign Update

Blessings FACCI Family;

We started our campaign 6 weeks ago needing $55,000, as we prayed about what to do the Lord said, "it is in the House". We asked each of you to pray and pledge what the Lord put on your heart. We received pledges for $64,000.00 and to date we have taken over  $55,000.00. This is a miracle and we know that we will complete the task. The Lord is pleased with us for showing Him our love and taking care of His house.

His Glory will be seen 2014!

Glorious New Year.
Our theme for this year is His Glory Will Be Seen In 2014, we expect God to Show up in a glorious way, why? Because many of you suffered in 2013, you went through the mill. Many suffered in loss, loss of love ones, loss of jobs, loss of health, loss relations and loss of confidence. But be encouraged in 2014. Furthermore, the bible states that if we suffer with Him we will reign with Him. My prayer for you is that you and your family will discover the glory of God. I am not saying that you won’t go through anything, I am saying that there will be glory after THIS. I don’t know what your THIS is and to be honest it does not matter, God will bring glory, victory, and deliverance out of the situation. So keeps your chin up start praising God now.  For there will be glory after THIS

HOPE -Harvesting Our Promised Expectation

2 Corinthians 9:6-10 God, who supplies seed to sow and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. " GNT

Remember that the person who sows few seeds will have a small crop; the one who sows many seeds will have a large crop.7 You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly.8 And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause.9 As the scripture says: "He gives generously to the needy; his kindness lasts forever." 10 And God, who supplies seed to sow and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. GNT

From Multiplying to Glorifying

From Multiplying to Glorifying We are commanded by Christ in Mathew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" NIV. Christ is saying that we should multiply what we should be namely disciples. A disciple is a dedicated follower of Christ and if we are that he has commanded us and expects us to multiply what we are. This command of our Lord in Mathew 28 is very similar to the command given to Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:28 " to be fruitful and multiply. Making disciples is being fruitful and multiplying in a spiritual sense.

Reverencing God by Pastor Clarence Walker

We have been teaching on reverencing God: We have taught that Reverence must first be vertical to the Father before it can be horizontal to people it must be upward to God before it can be outward to others. Hebrews 12:28 “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” Our service to God becomes meaningless and unacceptable if it is without the proper reverence to God.

Conquering the spirit of offence by Pastor Clarence Walker

We have been addressing the spirit of offense. 66% of people leave church because of being hurt or offended (this is regardless of, size, denomination, race or location) We have shared that whenever you are on the threshold of a breakthrough the enemy will try to take hold and build a stronghold of offense. When the enemy successfully builds a stronghold of offense People with a spirit of offense which goes unresolved enter and become trapped by an offense syndrome which has seven stages:

God's Restoration of Finances

GOD’S Restoration of Our Finances. This is the season of restoration where God is restoring what we have lost, and what we have sacrificed. We have been looking at the life of Joseph as an example of how God can totally restore back to us what has been lost, stolen or sacrificed. We are living in an economic time which has caused many the loss or sacrifice of financial resources.

I Give Myself Away by Pastor Ja'Ola

The Lord gave up so much for us, in fact all that He had, all that He was. He asks us for a lot in return, but the reality was before we got saved we did not really belong to ourselves, we were slaves to sin. We belonged to the Kingdom of Darkness. So when the Lord bought us off the auction block He could have paid the price and put us to work in the kitchen or working in the fields. But He paid the price and then made us sons and daughters, He adopted us into His family, gave us part of the inheritance and He wants us to represent Him on the earth.

Into God We Delve in 2012

Happy New Year! , Happy 13th Church Anniversary! We are grateful for the faithfulness of God as He brings us into a new year with new possibilities. Our theme this year is Into God we Delve in 2012. Meaning of Delve means to search deeply and laboriously: search by digging; we want more of God and less of us.

The Faith of Heaven in 2011

We have come through ten months of various faith themes in fulfillment of our annual theme The Faith of Heaven in 2011. We have three months left in this 2011 year and these final three months are the climax of what as been an awesome journey of faith. October's theme Faith for your full growth has been especially transformative as God has challenged us and is still challenging us to move from immaturity to maturity. He has beckoned us all to grow up in God and we have responded to him, he has rewarded us with a new manifestation of his power and glory.

Updated Blog - Faith of Heaven in 2011

Updated Pastor’s Blog
We have now come through seven months of teaching on faith in January our theme was Faith for your Father which focused on faith in God the Father the foundation of all faith, In February we focused on Faith for your Family learning how to apply the word to various family issues and how to overcome generational bondage

A Change of Season

Change is something most of us resist; we get comfortable with the familiar, even with familiar bondage.  It gives us a false sense of control.  False because everything changes and if you stand still, you just end up getting left behind.  God models the concept of change in nature in many ways, seasons being one way! If you have sown seeds in the spring that grew and survived the heat of summer, you are due for the harvest of fall which will begin soon; naturally and spiritually.  We will all reap whatever we have sown, good or bad.  The wonderful thing about the change of seasons is we get a chance to sow new seed!  This is a great time to assess your life and make changes for the better.

Fitly Joined Together

August is Unity month at FACCI - We will be focusing on increasing our unity, striving to keep the unity. Talking, sharing and getting to know each other. Any winning that we do as a church we must do it together. The Lord has created the Body of Christ so that we can't win without each other - I know sometimes I feel like saying, " fine if no body else wants to grow on in God , I'm going by myself". But that's not how it works.

For the Joy Set Before Me

The Lord has spoken a Word over this congregation that He is preparing us to win in this season. He started out telling us that one of the first things that He is equipping us to win over is afflictions.
